Aluminum wrap, paint it once, never again
Wrapping your fascia boards in aluminum gives a clean finished edge that does not need painting, does not check in the sun and does not soak up water at the joints. It is the most common upgrade we do alongside a new gutter install.
If you would rather keep a wood look, LP SmartSide trim is treated engineered wood with a rich cedar grain. It takes paint in any colour, so it can match trim you already have.
Do the fascia while the gutter is off
The cheapest time to fix fascia is the day the old eavestrough comes down, because the boards are already exposed and the crew is already on the wall. Doing it later means paying to take the new gutter back off.
That is why we look behind the trough before we quote. If there is rot, you will see it in the estimate rather than as a change order halfway through the job.

Yes, as long as the wood underneath is still sound. We wrap it in metal, which protects it and gives it a new finished look. If the board is soft or punky, wrapping only hides the problem. That one needs replacing first.
Yes. Our owner is a journeyman carpenter, so structural repair is in-house work for us rather than a second trade you have to book and wait for.
No. That is most of the appeal. The colour is factory-applied to the coil, so it does not need to be repainted the way bare wood does.
Treated engineered wood with a cedar-grain texture. It gives you a wood appearance with better resistance to moisture and insects than raw lumber, and it can be painted any colour to match your existing trim.
