We roll 5" fascia-style aluminum eavestrough on site, so the only joints on your house are at the corners and outlets. Fewer seams means fewer places to leak.

Eavestrough

Gutters are the cheapest foundation insurance you can buy

Roof water that is not carried away ends up against your walls and under your slab. A properly sized, properly sloped eavestrough system moves it clear of the building. Quietly, for decades, with almost no attention from you.

  • 5" seamless aluminum fascia-style gutter
  • Copper eavestrough on request
  • Wide range of stock colours
  • Leaf guards and gutter screens
  • Snow stops for Cariboo winters
  • Drip metal for short shingle overhangs
  • Gutter and downpipe repairs
  • Seasonal gutter clearing
  • Residential, commercial and industrial

What “seamless” actually means

Sectional gutter comes in ten-foot lengths that get joined together on the roofline. Every joint is a future leak. Seamless gutter is rolled from a single coil of aluminum at the length your house needs, so the run is one continuous piece from end to end.

We use a fascia-style 5" profile, which carries more water than a standard K-style trough and gives the roof edge a cleaner, more modern line.

Cleaning, repairs and maintenance

Under fir and pine, gutters fill fast. We clear debris from troughs and downpipes so water runs where it should, and we check the hangers and outlets while we are up there.

If your shingles were installed with too short an overhang, water wicks behind the gutter and rots the fascia. Drip metal fixes that permanently, and it is a cheap repair compared to replacing boards later.

Questions

Gutters FAQs

It depends on the linear footage, the number of storeys, and how much fascia repair is needed behind the old trough. That is why we quote on site rather than over the phone.

Our written estimate includes all downspouts and elbows, so nothing gets added at the end.

A good rule is twice a year, once in spring after the melt and once in late fall after the needle drop. If you are under mature fir or pine, you may want a third pass mid-summer.

Yes. Leaf guards cut how often you need to be on a ladder, which matters most on two-storey homes and steep lots. We will tell you honestly whether they are worth it for your roof.

Snow stops hold a snow load on the roof so it melts off gradually instead of releasing all at once. On a Cariboo winter, a full slide can tear an eavestrough right off the fascia. If your roof is steep and metal, they are cheap insurance.

Our aluminum stock comes in a wide colour range from Gentek and Kaycan, and we can usually get very close to existing trim. Bring us a sample or we will pull a chip on the estimate visit.

Yes. Residential, commercial and industrial. Shops, offices and outbuildings are all normal work for us.
